Hot and Cold

After a torrid April, A-Rod went through a horrid May. It looked like all was right again in June, and now July is off to an even worse start.

In April and June, Alex Rodriguez hit .381 with an OPS of 1.291
In May and so far in July, he's hit .205 with an OPS of .698

The DL may be coming at just the right time, as he's now 0 for his last 19 at bats.

Also of not, in April and June he hit a home run every 8.2 at bats.
In May and July, he hit one every 23.4 at bats.


Why the slow down?
